I was so into this game I forgot I had Maccaroni on the grill and now its all overcooked and mushy. I think the true mark of greatness in this game is that I will be able to draw in people who would otherwise be doing the same exact things on NG. Its not quite the full NG experiance in a game yet, but I'll be waiting for version 2.0

This is interesting coming from someone who made a Numa Numa parody just to show how pointless and and effortless it is to make a movie of yourself dancing to music. But I guess this is different because you're not sitting in a chair.

You probably don't remember my review for Madness 4 where I explained that I felt the madness series was going downhill and it didn't have the same luster for me. Let me say right out you fucking blew me away with this one! It was a perfect mix of style from Apothesis the action from Redeemer and the wackiness from Avenger finished of with a mix of adrenaline and lsd.
I loved when the battle finally moved out of the hallways and back outdoors. The barren landscape and oversized setting sun just seemed to fit perfectly. The ending was equally hilarious and awesome. If this is the final madness it is a perfect end to one of the greatest series on Newgrounds.

Congratulations on milking the popularity of DBZ to get your crummy sprite movies to pass. 80% of the movie was two sprites floating motionless in the air having a conversation. I don't mind if people use sprites because they don't have artistic ability, but thats no excuse for lazyness.

Dude, it's just a SHORT!!! It's all a part of one episode.
Why do I make them short? Because Newgrounds is being so anal that it won't let me hold more than 2 submissions more than 2 MB in size, thus I have to keep these small. You just gotta watch the first one, then this one, and you'll get what you're looking for.
I'm sorry there's no obliging you people.

Neat idea, but theres a major bug. you can just place your piece over the computers so you can win without any trouble. Technically someone could just not cheat to get the full experiance but I tought I might bring it to your attention

Wow, this is such a perfect combination of AYB and bohemian rhapsody, mixed together with just the right amounts of style and cheeseiness. When first saw the title I was expecting yet another sprite movie set to Bohemian Rhapsody but not only did you not use any sprites but you redid the whole song! I also like the little extras thrown in, I didn't notice the ziggo lighter till the third time I watched it.

Rightclick on the ending screen and select "Play" from the pop'd-up Flash menu, and you'll get BONUS FOOTAGE! :D

The computer isn't very smart at all. There were times whe I would have 2 in a row and it wouldn't go for the block. Plus I figured since you were describing it as x-treme it would at least have some rock music in the backround.

You missed out on adding all the thing that make mortal kombat cool. Where were the fatalities? Why didn't scorpion fall onto a bed of spikes. Although it wasn't bad for one of your first movies.

The major problem holding back this game is that there really isn't that much skill involved, it all seems pretty random. Either your gonna get the plop plops you need to win or your gonna get a bunch of dark plop plops. In a game like tetris attack both players are getting the same thing, so strategy makes the difference instead of luck.
On the up side the whole storyline was well done and you can tell that shitloads of effort was put into this and you worked really hard. You did alot of extra things you didn't have to like adding more than one player, which really helpes the experiance.
Author's Response:
About the skill thing, yes there IS skill involved. Different characters (computer) have different skills. The higher the skill, the greater the computer thinks when shooting blasts at you. Low skill=computer shoots blasts anyhow.
And then there is the level. When you set it to 5, it's just normal. If you set it to 1, the computer almost never hits its plops (but still, the level will increase when you progress in the story).
And if you set level to 9, the computer hits all plops and knows when not to hit plops.
So eventhough it's a random thing, the skill and level exists because it makes the computer either stupid or clever, regardless of what plop pops out!
And thank you very much for the second paragraph of your review!
